Perhaps the biggest dilemma facing 4WDers is what gear do we buy and what mods will get the best results for us. In this section, we will attempt to relay our experiences to you with the various items of gear that we use and provide you with our opinion on how effective it is.

The pre-departure check list is there to help you make sure that you have packed everything and your vehicle is as ready for the trip as it can be.

If you are like me, you quite often hear words used in 4WDing circles that I am not sure what they mean, so for the ones that I have worked the meanings out for, I have given you my slant on those meanings. Please be aware that some of these may be a little “tongue in cheek”. After all, I am Politically Incorrect and bloody proud of it.

As laughter is proven to be the best medicine, I have also included some of my favourite jokes and will add to these as time goes on. Please enjoy them….they are after all….jokes.
