Vehicle Suitability

4WD Vehicles come in many shapes and sizes. Some are ideally suited for off-road driving and quite frankly, others are as much use as a hip pocket on a jock strap when it comes to getting into anything more adventurous than smooth gravel roads.
The tracks that we tackle “On Tour” with Tassie Tag-A-Long 4WD Tours, will require a fair dinkum high clearance 4WD with dual range capability. You will also need to have a snorkel fitted, due to the fact that on some tracks, we are likely to encounter water well over bonnet depth. Some form of water blind i.e. a tarp or the MSA Car Bra, will also help to keep the electricals dry and engine bay cleaner.
